If you have a carnal mind toward miracles, then you will see no miracles, either by you or others. If you have the mind of the Spirit on miracles in the power of God, then in spite of all your other carnal thoughts, you will still produce the miracles of God. The power of God is far more mechanical that many teach. The issue is, if believe there is a reason God will not do it, then for you it will not happen. This is the mystery of: Matt 7:21-23 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful dunamis/works (miracles)? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” They are not lying about the miracles they did; they are lying about knowing the Lord as a requirement to work the miracles in agape love. If you believe there is a hindrance for God fulfilling His word through you, then for you there is a hindrance. The problem is you, not God. No one is yet perfect, thus no one has perfect theology. If those who say they have the perfect theology, their works will show them, not just power works but also those in agape love and the mind of Christ.
