If your world blew apart this week, dont fear. It isnt you. This magical, mystical lunar eclipse brought our own inner soul to light, and any shadows lurking beneath the surface were thrust brutally to the fore. Like an ethereal vision from the fantasy shelf in a bookstore, the moon herself appeared naked and vulnerable in the night sky. The term blood moon seemed too crude to describe such a sensual, mysterious, and evocative event. As the light grew around it and full brilliance returned, it was, in astrological terms at least, as if the metaphoric darkness had passed and our worlds both individually and collectively expanded. Ares and Aphrodite - Mars and Venus - united in delicate harmony, and who could have imagined the beauty and surprising peace of their union? It was as if for one night, just as in myth, the fierce aggression of Mars was enveloped and soothed by the soft love of Venus, and a truce put in place. That beautiful atmosphere lingers today until the moon shifts into earthy Taurus this evening, and we move out of dreamy, passionate contemplation and into sturdy action. For some, this moon has brought to glorious fruition long cherished dreams and projects. For others, partnerships and romances have blown apart, unable to survive such intense exposure. Know this: whatever truth has emerged for you during this truly dramatic period, it is real, and important. Trust yourself and learn from what you have seen in the moons shadow. You are ready to move forward, now. Walk with grace and humility, secure in your dreams and your heart. You are a child of the universe, and last night, you were part of a miracle.
