If youve been posting mostly text status updates on your Page, FYI: Facebook is starting to reduce the distribution of this type of post in the News Feed. But, the good news is that you may see some increases in engagement and distribution for other post types. Hm. See Facebooks official announcement of this newest News Feed ranking algorithm change here: newsroom.fb/News/787/News-Feed-FYI-What-Happens-When-You-See-More-Updates-from-Friends Often, Pages share links in a text status update with the link preview removed and so these are treated as text status updates. From now on, you may wish to experiment with more link posts with the actual link preview left in place. As always, its important for Pages to continue to experiment further with the best post types for *your* particular audience. Use a mix of photos, videos, links (with the preview left in place), events, offers, milestones, text status updates, and dont forget dark posts (unpublished posts which youll find in the Power Editor - use these to target a specific audience with granular targeting).
