Ikotun/Igando LCDA has not felt an atom of government impart on road construction in the last eight years. I have personally spent over N35m on roads and drainages from my purse without a recourse to the government. I have spent over N45m on street lights installation and powered by two heavy duty 60 kva generators in the last 7 years in Ikotun/Igando LCDA. Yet I am not a card carrying member of any political party in this country. All I crave for is good governance in Nigeria. The politicians should stop being psychophants and advise the executive accordingly. Alhaji Lateef Jakande was able to physically create impact in every of the Local Government Councils including the LCDAs he created then. Nothing stops the State Government from surpassing this feat in view of the enormity of funds available compared to the meagre fund available for Alhaji Lateef Jakande. Drainages were constructed in every LCDAs. Schools were built. Many new roads were opened and constructed to link up Lagos from all angles. I want to see governance in this direction. Not performance on paper. However, Fashola has not done badly when compared to other Governors all over the country. He needs to be commended. At the same time, he must be told the obvious truth. Things are not going on well with Ikotun/Igando LCDA especially on road construction. Fashola can still do something in this regard to avoid protest votes. God bless Nigeria !
