Im all for everyone getting past this Paula Deen thing. Yes, I think it needs to be let go. But heres the thing, I just have a suspicion that if she had said something you find offensive, it would be different. Say if she said she didnt like a certain christian denomination, or if she supported some political position you oppose. Think about it. There is also this, she was one of the top draws on the air at food tv. If they were so willing to dump her, maybe there is a little more to this whole thing. Just mabye. I dont know. I have no inside knowledge of the situation. But yes, something she said 30 years ago is pretty much in the past. People need to deal. I get that.
