Im at a crossroads, not the Benny & Miss Diane type of Crossroads... Im constantly fighting the urge to put my SPS page to bed and start a new page as I feel Im spending far too much time pratting (I like that word:-D) about on here with my cake addiction and silly humour that I cant change its direction and use it for my business. When I started this page, it was a behind the scenes, a bit of banter while I spent many long lonely hours painting furniture to supply the shop and it has built up a nice and unexpected following, Ive met and made good friends and it has been quite the ride but every time I come on here I feel its more about the fun and cakes and not so much about my furniture which, now I dont have a shop, I feel I should be more serious about it :-D If I just stop the banter and get all serious with the furniture, which is essentially what I do for a living, Im not sure the SPS page will lend any serious weight to my trade. When I look back at my previous posts, I laugh loudly at the funnies... Am I sad that I laugh at my own jokes? Ha Ha..... And I love all the interaction with my FB friends but now my page is going to be my point of sale/marketing tool, Im not sure how serious people/future clients will take me? :-S So you see my tiny dilemma. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated xxxx
