Friendly Cashier: You know if they would just price these reasonably they wouldnt have to give away all these coupons. Me: Yeah, thats true. FC: I bet a man came up with this pricing of these. Me: *nodding with hopes that FC will ring up my purchase so I can leave* FC: I guess we are lucky though. They use to make us use dried cow flakes to absorb the fluids. Me: *blink blink* FC: *Finally rings up shiny pink box of Tampax.* So it could be worse. Me: Apparently. *Looks at group of men standing in line behind me; dies a little inside.* FC, as Im finally leaving: I talk too much. Me, mumbling as I quickly walk away: Understatement of the century. I havent been embarrassed to buy feminine hygiene products since I was a teen and now I will forever live in fear that I will have another conversation like this. In public. With a stranger. In front of many strangers. GIVE ME MY TAMPONS AND LET ME SLINK AWAY LIKE A NORMAL CASHIER !!!
