Im calling BS on this list though. Ive read all of 35 books on there, but even though there were many classics (some were obscure classics that most people havent even heard of, and arent on many school reading lists) there were too many books that were turned into movies on that list. Not that they werent good but I think that something better could have taken its place. I didnt see anything from Edgar Allen Poe, Nathaniel Hawthorn, Emily Dickinson, and a handful of other famous authors on that list, yet Bridget Jones Diary makes the list. Im not doubting that Bridget Jones was a good book (never read it) but its certainly not on par with some of the other books on the list. Maybe Im just picking at the article, or maybe its because the list is from the UK, but I think there could have been some better additions.
