Im doing a little research for a young mother raising a son with autism with very little in the way of a support system. Several of you, my lovely friends, have been through many trials and triumphs with your children with special needs. I think a pressing concern is respite care and moral support from ladies whove been there. Dad is only nominally in the picture, grandparents are unreliable. Shes patching together two part time jobs and full time school and does at least have a good day care provider in a home setting. So, do you know of any support groups, or places she can turn to for a little help?
