Im excited for this!! - The sequel, the as-yet-untitled Fast & Furious 7, will be in theaters on July 11, 2014. - Universal has hired Insidious and Saw director James Wan to helm the new sequel. He replaces Justin Lin in the director’s chair after Lin chose to leave, citing the tight production schedule on Fast 7. The villain, if you stayed through the end credits of Fast 6, will be none other than Jason Statham (!!), who is playing the angered sibling of Owen Shaw … who was killed in this sequel.
