Im heartbroken and thankful at the same time. I woke up this morning at 3am, to find that Id missed a dozen phone calls and texts. My daughter was in a car accident last night and had to go to the hospital. Thankfully, they sent her home with just pain and bruising from the seat belt. Sadly though, last month my daughter tried to raise money thru a Go Fund Me account, to raise money to buy me a car, so that Id have one after she receives the car I bought her for graduation. Unfortunately, only a couple of people donated. So she spent everything that she had in savings from her part-time job to buy the car on her own. Now its totaled, she has no transportation for this busy senior year and I know she probably feels horrible. As a father, you only want to protect your kids. If you cant, then you at least want to be there to comfort them. I wasnt able to do either. This just solidified my reasons for moving back to Tampa. Im sorry I couldnt help when you needed me Tianna, but Ill be home soon. Thank you God for your protection over her.
