Im just got a chance to read this. Please read it. Writers and librarians and teachers and all educators, especially, please read it. Please do not say it applies to the USA and not to us. Think what role models are presented to our children. Think how many local childrens books are available to our children here. Yes, because of economies of scale they may be more expensive, but what is the price of an imagination? What is the map for them to follow?
