Im not sure what bothers me more the shooting or the comments and insinuations that tend to follow. It seems to me when shootings happen in a predominately black area, I feel as if all I hear and read is how pathetic and ashamed the black community should feel about this and that they are savages either implied or stated in a more direct manner and that that community is to blame as a whole...However, when a shooting happens in a predominately white area the reactions tend to be more focused on the individual and there seems to be more grace and a desire in understanding what could have pushed this individual to do something like this. Why?
