Im outraged with Labor and Industries! Please help me in my efforts to re-acquire time loss benefits and surgery. From my on the job injury (09/18/2012), I have 2 bulging discs, left side (neck, C-5, C-6, C-7) and, a bicep tear, left shoulder. Here are 5 facts and knowledge I have to face daily against L&I. 1. I received a letter dated 03/18/2014 by Ivan L Sinkler, Supervisor of Industrial Insurance (Labor and Industries). In it, Mr. Sinkler states Time-Loss benefits are ended as paid through 10/18/2013. This claim is closed effective 03/18/2014. However, a letter by Mark Holm, also Supervisor, dated July 9th 2013 said Loss of earning power benefits (Time loss benefits), was paid through May 19th 2013. Im outraged Mr. Sinkler closed my case! Mr. Holms letter is correct. Not Mr. Sinklers. I have ALL documents to prove Mr. Holms letter is the correct one. 2. Prior to the date of my on the job injury (09/18/2012), I did NOT have pain, numbness, tingling, twitching or weakness down my left arm. Nor, did I NOT have 3 migraine like headaches a week. Prior to the injury, AT MOST, had 1 migraine like headache a MONTH! I researched enough to know the increase number of headaches and ALL pain, numbness, tingling, twitching or weakness down my left arm is the result of the injury from 09/18/2012. Friendly reminder: I was let go from my light duty job due to my limitations and headaches sustained by my on the job injury (09/18/2012)! 3. I was encouraged by Sarah E. Jackson, claims manager of Labor and Industries, after my light duty job ended to find another job. I applied for jobs even when I was working my light duty job. I had 18 interviews. Out of the 18 interviews, 5 hiring managers were interested and would have hired me. However, when mentioning my injuries and headaches they replied with essentially this: Due to your current limitations, we wont be able to hire you and or bring you on board. In the future, when new openings arise, we will contact you then if you havent already pursued and accepted another job. 4. Never at ONE time, has the cancelled 2 different EMG test appointments I had with Dr. William Stump M.D. of Medical Consultants Network been addressed. The 1st was cancelled because he Forgot the machine. 2nd one was cancelled because Dr. Stump was unable to make it in for my 5pm appointment. I kept voice mails in case of questions. Please keep in mind, Both appointments were cancelled on the Same Day of appointments! Whats up with this? If I cancelled a doctors appointments on the same day, currently, I would be charged up to $250! 5. Lastly, I talked to 13 people whom are reliable sources to the following. ALL stated: Leaders and employees of Labor and Industries receive kick backs and or bonuses when claims are denied. With that knowledge, the policies, procedures, employees and leaders need to be FIRED, REMOVED and, Shredded! The injured need NEW people and policies in that agency. Therefore, I ask simple and brief questions: Where do I go from here? How will I get to where I need to be? What support do I have? Who can I trust?
