Im sharing this post I spent 30 minutes writing to a group Im in. Lots of people were asking questions about where to find good solo vendors. Some people were saying its easy for certain people and I totally disagree. So I think this will be a good read for some of you trying to figure out the traffic equation ;) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Alright Im going to add my 2 cents here. Traffic, is traffic is traffic. Will said it best above when he said credibility can be created in someones eyes pretty fast. John Chow once said he finds the sweet spot for someone to buy is 2 weeks. I agree because it takes a few weeks for someone to get to know you and to see if they trust you. John is not building a buyers list hes using a blog. Kind of like I do. He brings people in that most people would call freebie seekers. I always laugh when I here people say freebie seekers are worthless, you need a buyers list. If youre not launching products you will not have a buyers list and anyone who cares about their buyers list isnt going to let someone mail to it or if they do then its going to cost a premium. Someone recently approached me to mail to my list and offered me a large sum of money and I said no. My list is not a buyers list I turn them into buyers. Everyone of us started out as a freebie seeker and later graduated into a buyer. I think the problem most people have is the way they look at this business. They expect to buy a solo ad, run to the video sales letter and crush it. Not going to happen without large volume. You have to build a relationship with people, whisper a few sweet nothings in their ear and get them to like and trust you and then they will buy. All this talk about how its easy for John and Michelle is complete BS. Just because you build a following doesnt mean they will be following you forever. We are in the biz opp niche where people change their biz opp like they change their underwear. I have people who have joined me after researching people like Shaqir, Michelle and John.(No disrespect guys I love you). My point here is that people join people they like and trust. The traffic source is a small part of the equation. I do blogging and got over 50,000 visits to my site last month(freebie seekers) Solo ads Forum traffic Youtube Facebook(free) Most people just want to make the sale right away and make easy money. 90% of the time I take people into a funnel with me introducing myself and what they can expect. I set myself apart from most marketers by letting people know Im not going to pitch them every other biz opp on the planet every day, reach out to me if you need help and if you have ideas for content you want me to create let me know. So lets talk about solo ads for a minute. What does everyone do. Optin> redirect to offer> hammer list daily with new product trying to get money out of them. So knowing that, what makes you different when youre just loading up preloaded followup emails that every other affiliate is using? If you want to make big money with mobe you need to be willing to put in the extra effort. Ive been spending the last week creating my new funnel, filming new videos and preparing to scale to $100k a month with mobe. Now noticed I said preparing my funnel. Im building the ground work first and then I will go out and crank up the traffic once the funnel is done. Most people think the solution is more traffic and its just the opposite. I used to do the same, but now I spend my time thinking my plan of attack and then I implement. Start treating your customers how you would want to be treated and that will get you much better results. I know personally I only open peoples emails I trust and people I know who deliver the goods. I could careless if they sell me everyday, but they better deliver the goods. The market place is evolving daily and that churn burn crap people used to use is falling by the waste side. If you continue to treat people like an email and not like a person youre going to be complaining a year from now about how this industry doesnt work. Im not trying to sound like an asshole here preaching, but you have to treat people with respect. Theres plenty of people who buy solo ads in here who are crushing it. You think they have secret sources or special traffic, but for the most part they dont(I know). Of course after a while once you find good sources you try to lock the vendors down and negotiate special deals, but even Matt tells you this in his training. I just get amazed when I see people say this source doesnt work, or that source doesnt work or this person has a special advantage. Thats pure BS. I use all of the sources I mentioned above and they all work. Spend lest time worrying about where to get the magic source and spend more time building your list daily. Everyday I wake up I think of two things: - Build list - Help followers = lots of money for me. There are crappy solo vendors out there, but there are good ones. This is why you shouldnt be buying 1000 click packages until you test. Buy small and scale up. I buy 100 clicks. If a nice percentage of people open my emails I go back for bigger packages. Guys theres no secrets. The secrets are hard work and trial and error. When I started blogging I almost quit after 2 months of blogging daily because I wasnt seeing the results. 4 months later the traffic just started rushing in and I was getting daily leads and sales. The what ifs will kill you. Just get to work, mess a lot of stuff up and learn from your mistakes. Start with one traffic source like solo ads for example and stick with it. Dont give up if you spend $500 and dont get results. Why do you think only a small percent make it the NBA? Why do you think only a small percent get good with any traffic source? Its persistence, determination and learning to master it. Most people try something and if they dont get quick results they jump to another source thinking it will be the magic button. Look at anyone doing good in your company. What sources of traffic do they use? Are the top leaders using solo ads? If yes then that should tell you something. If you keep wondering around thinking people have special sources or they must know something you dont you will be broke for a long time my friend. I was doing ok in business last year, but then my business crashed from personal problems and depression. January 1st I went through a major life change and I was tired of being broke. I just switched to Mobe in Dec. I didnt start promoting until mid January if memory serves me right. I decided when I went into Mobe I was going to be one of the contenders. Im no where close to what I know Im capable of, but the difference was I made the DECISION to dominate. I left the excuses, the what ifs and the limited mindset I once had at the door. So let me break this down for you. In Dec my business had completely failed. My internet marketing business failed, my outsourcing business in the Philippines failed and I was down to my last $5k. I was sick and tired of being away from my family (1 1/2 years at this point) and I decided something had to change right now. So I could have saved that $5k, but I invested $2k of it in Mobe and I blogged my little ass off. I pulled around ($30-$40k not sure on specific number) with blogging only right out of the gate that first month. From there my income has continued to rise. I even took damn near a month off from having to adjust back to the US and made $30k doing nothing. Im not telling you this to brag because my results mean nothing. What Im trying to make you see is you guys are asking all the wrong questions. Who are the right vendors? Whos traffic converts? Where are the buyers list? The buyers are everywhere around you, but its going to take a mind shift in the way you think to convert those freebie seekers into buyers. You can read this and think Im feeling you with BS or you can take it and run with it. I can tell you I didnt spend 30 minutes writing this for nothing. I just hope at least one of you gets an ah ha moment and gets to work testing. Im using solo ads for what its worth ;) Good luck
