Im tired of crying with joy about the guys & gals coming home. Im even more tired of the sadness of guys & gals coming home wounded. And I am completely done with the overwhelming sorrow of those who come home as only a memory. I dont believe that any of our boots on the ground involvements are really doing anything to promote, preserve or protect our present or our future. If there is a truly legitimate value to our war efforts, for us or for the oppressed in other countries, then lets not do it half assed as we have done so often after WWII. Let us do it with the full force and effect of our military might. This will serve best those who are serving and those we are protecting. But if there is no real value, then lets not waste the thousands of lives of the wounded, killed or missing as we as we have done so often, most notably in the now nonexistent South Vietnam. WE lost those 10s of thousands of lives there and in the politics of Washington. Lets stop doing it now. Lets do it right or not at all.
