Im tired of the following words: awesome incredible amazing badass ninja and the phrase 1% will ______ but 99% will not. Really? What fairyland statistical machine did you pull that from? Im tired of men being portrayed as silly, fat blowholes who think only of sports and eating. Im tired of seeing empty headed women in bathing suits pretending that their nougat bar or their shampoo has given them an orgasm. Im tired of seeing pictures of suffering dogs that I cant do anything about. Im tired of seeing news stations pretend to report the news while they try to sell me something. Im tired of celebrities acting as if their job somehow makes them qualified to tell me how many sheets of toilet paper to use. Im tired of headlines posed as questions in order to deceive one into thinking their article contains answers. Im tired of not being able to read minds and pretending I know what Im doing. Im tired of condescending messages on TV that tell me the sky is blue and to not leave my kids in a hot car because they will die. In short, Im tired today.
