Immediate Hiring Need for Home Security Technicians General Summary: The Security Installation Technician is responsible for the tasks associated with the design, installation, upgrade and repair of home security systems. As a Technician, the individual will use communication, technical knowledge, problem solving and sales skills to deliver the highest level of customer service. Responsibilities: • Perform new system installations and replacements, upgrade/disconnects, replacement/takeovers, signal verifications, system testing and troubleshooting • Build and maintain rapport with customers including educating and training the customer on system operations and functionality • Conduct personal safety checks and adhere to established safety guidelines and directives • Understanding of hand and power tools • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams • Experience is helpful with selling equipment and service upgrades Qualifications: • Minimum of 3 years security system installation and servicing experience • High school diploma or equivalent • Valid driver’s license and non-negligent driving record • Must submit to a background check and drug screen • Previous experience performing security and alarm installations • Ability to climb and carry ladders of various sizes TO APPLY: Please attend our next recruitment event on: Monday, May 12, 2014 Check-in time: 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. (No admittance after 9:00 a.m.) Location: 5555 Conner Ave, Detroit, MI 48213 You must wear business attire (no jeans/gym shoes).
