Ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, exceptional level of attention-to-detail, a creative problem solver, “out of the box thinker”, and fast learner with strong commitment to the quality of work he or she produces. Essential Duties / Responsibilities: Demonstrated experience in object oriented design and development of applications and systems Ability to quickly master new technologies and push the envelope for performance and reliability Defensive coding ability accompanied with strong analytical and creative problem solving skills In-depth debugging skills; ability to reach out and use team strengths to solve problems Efficient coding to maximize output from limited server resources Education and Work Experience: 5 - 7 years of work experience in Java (Servlets, JSP, JSF) Big plus for knowing these technologies: MySQL, mongodb, memcached, Redis, ehcache, or other fast and scalable databases You must be a fast learner with the ability to implement a new technology the right way You must be motivated, driven, and passionate about programming and technology You will work in small project teams of 3 to 6 people on projects lasting from a few weeks to several months You must have fundamental knowledge of back-end web development (REST APIs) Experience with MVC Java Frameworks such as Spring is a plus Excellent teamwork skills with an ability to get the work done with minimal supervision.
