Imprisoned by Prosecutor’s Beauty: “Imprisoned by Prosecutor’s Beauty” was recently released and started to gain popularity in Thailand. The song was written and sung by Chokedee Srimuanglung, a prosecutor from Pattalung Province. It shows the criminal trial in Thai court, plus lively atmosphere between opposite parties. The Thai procedure is considered as Adversary system which prosecutor and defense lawyer play the active roles in presenting evidences. The song illustrates how well female prosecutor examines and re-examines the witness in murder case. The defense lawyer was attracted by the prosecutor’s charm. At the end, the case was proved beyond reasonable doubt by the charming prosecutor. The defendant was thus imprisoned by prosecutor’s talent. In the meantime, the defense lawyer was imprisoned by prosecutor’s beauty.
