In 1970 The Warlocks were playing at The Funky Broadway on 168st and Collins Ave. The other band was Tommy Strand and The Upper Hand..They covered Blood Sweat and Tears like nobodies business. How ever we had the voices the soul and the funk. We did this song with Cuqui doing the lead the rest the background. Oh that part where where you hear the guy singing bass. Ricky rest his soul did it to a fault! He could sing the bottoms like nobodys business.. With Rickys direction and the talent we had We did the orchestration super close to what you hear in this great song. Ps We were the first Open House band to play there. This club had a Vegas classy type of fancy look to it...
