In 1972 my family moved from Danbury, Connecticut to Texarkana. I was turning 16. New and a bit nervous I entered my sophomore year at THS. I was quickly accepted by the warm friendliness of the students, teachers and was fortunate to move next to the most wonderful neighbors. The Bardwell family, especially Debi, are very special to me. David Lewis and Tom Hall were my best friends. Julie Patterson, Susan Owen and Lisa Jones were the sweetest of sweet. On August 23rd I will visit my hometown where I will be performing my Melodies of Memories and Miracles Broadway Classics concert. There is no charge to the communities where I will be performing. Cowhorn Creek is at 10:30 a.m. and will be open to the public. At 2 p.m I will be at The Sterling House which is under renovation, but will welcome 20 additional quests who call a head. This past year I have given my voice to senior communities around the country especially those who have dementia and Alzheimers care raising awareness and money to help find a cure. After my stop in Texarkana, I will head to Dallas / Ft. Worth where I will entertain 22 senior communities. This is my gift to a town that welcomed my family in 1972 and I hope to see some of my old friends. Blessings, James Michael
