In 1973 or 74 I was working in Fairbanks and stayed at the Polaris Hotel. The MECCA BAR was the hot hot spot on TWO STREET. The police monitored drunk drivers, so several drunks used to come stay with a fellow on the 5th floor, so they didnt have to drive home. One of these boozers worked for ALASKA INTL AIR, and was from Texas. His dad was in air service in Texas and got him a job in Alaska. He was here for 12 months and split home. OK GUESS WHO IT WAS !!!
