In 1987 I worked at a restaurant in Trappers Alley on the top - TopicsExpress

In 1987 I worked at a restaurant in Trappers Alley on the top floor (I chose to not name it for the sake of what Im posting). I became an employee that the owners took a liking to so much so he approached me about some business outside of work of which never materialized. To this very day I am cool with him. He called me to the restaurant one day. I arrived with a partner of mine and we noticed a young white dude sitting at the bar with a Troop jogging outfit on with a big gold chain with medallions hanging from it. The restaurant owner asked what my partner and I were drinking and we ordered Top Shelf Long Island Iced Teas. After getting our drinks he pulled me to a booth where it was just he and I. He asked me What do you think about that guy over there? talking about the white dude. I said I dont know him but to be honest with you I dont and wouldnt trust a whiteboy trying to be black He told me that the dude worked for him but he wanted me to watch him for him and that he would pay me to do it. I said no sir this dude is a clown and the way he looks he stands out like a sore thumb It turned out that the guy at the bar was Whiteboy Rick aka Rick Wershey. So as i listened to this interview the memory of that moment came flooding back to my mind and made me think that even back then Allah was protecting me and molding to do a work in this hour.
