In 2008, the world was completely fooled into believing that @BarackObama was the savior of the United States of America. In 2014, it has become clear that the President Obama turned out be just another tyrant like George W Bush, very much in the tradition of Abraham Lincoln and Woodrow Wilson. Now in 2014 in India, the voters have been completely fooled into this fantasy of @narendramodi being the savior of India. This criticism of Modi is not meant to be a pro-Congress or pro-Left view since many supporters of Modi foolishly assume that; being opposed to Modi, and the BJP, means being opposed to Hinduism and India, and it also follows that one must be pseudo-secular and pro-Muslim. This binary thought comes from the human weakness to fall back on authority in the absence of willingness to take responsibility. It comes from the absence of being able to think outside the box of statist politics. The voters in a democracy are brainwashed into believing that the nation state can be saved by only electing the most nationalist statists possible. The voters in India will learn a hard lesson, specifically a lesson in economics in the next five years. All those who voted are utterly clueless, and have voted for more tyranny, not that Congress + allies are any better. If you really care for Indian civilization, then look to the light of liberty, not the darkness of tyranny disguised as freedom and prosperity.
