In Bible Study last Monday night, we read Exodus 12 to remember the significance of the Passover celebration that brought Jesus to Jerusalem the final week of His earthly life. During Passover Week, Jerusalem at the time of Christ would increase from normal population of approximately 40,000 to 250,000 people. We discussed the major political unrest in Jerusalem under the rule of Rome and the heightening confrontations between Jesus and the religious leaders.
