In Indonesia, many complain when property prices rise because many who want to have a place to stay, find it more difficult to achieve their desire . In other countries when property prices fall , many are complaining because their assets down . In China, the Hangzhou government banned the developer to lower the price more than 15 % . But it did not work . Now the prices went down without interference from the government but they try to hold the price from falling . In my opinion, it is hard to control property prices. Any costs incurred by any government would probably be not worth it. Nobody wants to live in a difficult economic situation. But the fact that all existing advancement in science and smart leaders can not avoid a crisis. Many people expect a strong government, which can protect, but history proves that only if the government is strong but not the people, the result is oppressed people. So actually what they have to do is to strengthen the people. Government should educate people to be ready for the days of the crisis, not just only to maintain price stability. But then it is harder to do that and the result may not be tangible so all government tries to do the latter.
