“In a time where calling for more killing and bloodshed of human beings is the game that most sides rush to, we call upon people, all people, especially religious people to completely and unequivocally renounce violence and immediately stop calling for any bloodshed of any human being, and seek to spread love and peace instead. Syrians today more than ever and all human beings in the world need prayers not bullets, and love not hate. There is a political equation that some people put their hopes in. Turkey + Qatar = Syria. This is regarding government policies, not people. People are people, and people are the same everywhere. Some bank on one side of the equation or the other. We know for sure that if one side remains, the other side of the equation must go. Once that happens, the “musical chairs” game will start, and people will gradually alter their stances in an attempt to avoid remaining without a chair. Meanwhile the call for hate, encouraging people to continue to kill in the name of God, and the call for the destruction of a country, human fabric of a whole society, and inflicting pain and suffering on 100,000’s of widows, orphans, and wounded humans, keeps going. We call all not to bank on any side of this political equation, and rely on Allah Ta’ala and His Messenger’s message of Love and Compassion.This is the time to turn back to The Creator of all; Allah Ta’ala, and invoke Salawaat onto His Mercy to the creation, sallallahu alayhi wa aalihi wa sallam, with an intention that Allah Ta’ala blesses all human beings with peace and happiness.” --Shaykh Muhammad bin Yahya an-Ninowy
