In an effort to showcase the talent of our local artists, I’m holding a public reception from 6-8 p.m. this coming Wednesday (Nov. 5) at my Bloomsburg district office. This reception will feature the work of three local artists: - Amanda M. Broughton of Berwick, a painter who works in oils and acrylics. - Michael Silver of Berwick, a painter who focuses on still-life and landscapes - Mark Golumb of Bloomsburg, who creates wire bonsai sculptures and paints in oils. All artists are anticipated to be in attendance at the event. Their artwork will be on display in my 3 offices (Bloom, Berwick and Capitol) during the next several weeks.
