In light of the ice bucket challenge we thought of a little fundraising challenge of our own. With our biggest fundraiser of the year, The Pug O Rama coming up November 8th, we wanted to figure out a way to raise enough money BEFORE Pug O Rama to pay off our vet bill. These past years we have gone in to the event with a large bill that needs to be paid. This year we hope to eliminate our debt prior to the event so the money raised at Pug O Rama can help us take in pugs well in to 2015, instead of paying for the pugs that we already took in. We thought of a great challenge fundraiser – “Bones for Bone$”. How it works is, you donate money and our president Jennifer, along with some SNPR friends and volunteers have agreed to put your money where our mouths are. It’s that simple, you donate, and live at Pug O Rama Jennifer will eat the dog bones pictured at the level of money we raised prior to that moment. There is also some curly tail craziness in addition to eating the dog bones. In fact, our board member Saira is willing to dress in the pug suit in public for some photo ops - and if you know Saira this is a huge deal! Our volunteer Destiny has agreed to be tattooed with a pug butt and volunteer Jenn H will eat some canned dog food if the donations reach our vet bill.
