In loving memory of Oxnards well known Cookie Auntie, Marianne Arnold, we have made a donation to her favorite charity, Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Kanab, UT. Three generations of our dogs looked forward to seeing Marianne walking at the beach each morning. Although a very quiet woman, everyone knew when she arrived. First the sky would get loud with the sound of excited birds, racing to the parking lot where she would be waiting with their breakfast. The commotion would alert all the dogs of her arrival, and they too would race to see her for their cookies, belly rubs, and praise. Thank you, Marianne, for making all the animals feel so very special. We are sure you have already been greeted in heaven with many wagging tails and kisses.
