In some rather wonderfully inclement weather with an at times waterlogged pitch, the 4s went down 3-4 to Uni Associates this afternoon. The team played with determination, skill and passion. The juniors played superbly (sorry guys, my first game with you, so cannot remember you names), with some superb stick skills. The still newbie, Miles, snuck a beautiful goal in on the back post. Josh (playing on the field), Drew and Lee played with strength in the back line. A penalty stroke awarded when the ball was put into Lee who was down low for a tackle, was saved by Ady (ok Im bragging a little) in the last few minutes of the game. Thanks guys. You should be proud of your game.
