In the haze of grief I cant seem to get organised and arrange Leos - TopicsExpress

In the haze of grief I cant seem to get organised and arrange Leos memorial plaque so this page will be around for at least another 4-6 weeks. As we prepare to close it though, if you notice within yourself an unreasonable sadness I suggest that in addition to missing Leo, perhaps you might be sad about losing a glimpse into our world; a world where God is real and close. If that describes you or even if you are just intrigued about how our family has behaved and coped over the past 3 years, I draw your attention to something called the Alpha course. alpha.org The Alpha course involves 9 weekly session that respectfully explain the core principals of the Christian faith without requiring you to join, agree or sign up to anything. It explains the framework that our family chooses to live within and why we made some of the decisions we did. The course is available in locations all around the world and is free. (Christianity Explained is another similar course, also good.) If you live in the Launceston area, come along and join us. Ky and I have just decided we are going to do the course too. There is an evening course starting on the 30th July (and a day time one starting 29th July too). We are signed up to the evening sessions because Ky works during the day. If all goes well, we will miss session #2 because that is when Baby will arrive but we will just bring him along to the rest of the course. Contact Door of Hope Christian Church to sign up or get just more info (03 6344 8450). Or you can check out the Door of Hope website and look under events but for some reason FB will not let me post any reference to it. Id love to get to know you over the meal provided and talk about things that matter. - Bec
