In the last 24 hours Ive dealt with delayed flights, horrible stomach pains, misplaced hostel reservations, broken AC, language barrier miscommunications resulting in the cancellation of a Mt. Kinabalu hiking permit and the loss of a $200 deposit, broken WiFi, broken phone charger, relentless mosquitoes, and to top it off I just rented a scooter and drove through insane Malaysian traffic on the left side of the road where I was honked at relentlessly for my blonde hair and nearly killed on the freeway. HOWEVER, this country is beautiful and people have been nothing but nice :) Malaysia! You will not make me miserable! I dont play that game! You wont win...you just wont. Im on my way to a fancy hotel for a pool side Hendricks gin and tonic on my scooter...go ahead and honk Malaysia. Im blissfully ignoring your jabs because this is my holiday that I will enjoy no matter what you throw at me. Jumpa lagi!
