In the real world of cause and effect if an individual cannot - TopicsExpress

In the real world of cause and effect if an individual cannot choose then no right exists for that person at that time. This plain-as-day observation, this unavoidable and defining condition of the reality in which humans exist, is threatening enough to create debilitating fear in folks whose faith REQUIRES no distinction to be recognized between abstract notions and real-world actions and consequences. No quantity or quality of reason from 3rd parties can cause that faith-based belief to change for any individual. Only their purposeful choice to abandon their most comforting points of faith can enable individuals to see that rights which cannot be exercised do not exist in the present for those who cannot exercise them. The bottom line necessity for such faith blind positions is the justification of force to provide rights to those who cannot choose. If a right must be provided by the actions of others then that so-called right is just an entitlement for which the faith-blinded believe force is justified in order to ensure that consequences appear as if the individual recipient of that entitlement had actually chosen to exercise (or chosen not to exercise) the right in question.
