IndiGo Cuts Fares Sharply in New Year Offer In good news for flyers, now Indias biggest domestic carrier by passengers carried IndiGo has announced fares as low as Rs 1950 (all-inclusive) as part of a promotional offer. This IndiGo offer can be booked till December 31, 2014, and it is applicable on travel from February 1 to September 30, 2015. Rival budget carrier GoAir had triggered off a fare war earlier by putting up to 1.7 million seats for sale, offering fares as low as Rs 1,469 for travel next year. The January-March quarter is traditionally a lean quarter... The purpose of introducing these fares is to make air travel affordable during the period, GoAir chief executive Giorgio De Roni said. Jet Airways had also joined the airfare war by offering fares from Rs 2015 on economy class and Rs 7,999 on premiere class travel on domestic routes. The bookings for this Jet Airways offer are open till December 31, 2014. And it is valid on travel between February 1, 2015 and September 30, 2015.
