Indian culture is colorful, the same goes for Indian costume. When I attended the Deepavali celebration at Little India at Klang, YB Ganabatiraus wife, Buva suggested that I buy a saree in Klang and she can help me to bargain and choose. I had a hard time in choosing the saree in a saree shop. All the clothes are so colorful and full of embroideries. If I wear any of them, I will be like an Indian dancer on stage :-) After spending one hour looking through all the clothes, I then managed to choose a piece of cloth with the combination of white and red colour, my choices colours. I then passed the materials to the male tailors in the shop and they did the sewing for me immediately. Buva then taught me the way to tie and wear saree. It is complicated to wear it. Today is Deepavali. Before I left house to go for my visiting rounds, I tried to wear saree on my own. After a few attempts, I still failed to wear my saree properly. I then called Buva, she did not know what was the problem and was unable to help me. Out of no choice, I then went to Ganabatiraus open house earlier than the scheduled starting time, 11am, and asked his wife to help me to tie my saree. Then only my problem was solved.........Ha ha!! Many thanks for Buva for her patience to teach me to tie saree. She is a special kid education teacher, I said she has to treat me as special kid when teaching me to wear the saree. Ha ha!! Below are the photo taken as the saree shop in Klang, and photo with Ganas family at his open house. How do you find my saree?? Hi hi.......
