Ingredient Of The Week: Avocados. Theyre in season now so at their best. Hers a greta recipe for Avocado Hummus. Serve it with my Seed Crackers for something just a bit past super special. 2 avocados, medium ripe 1 can chick peas, BPA free ( or 2 cups dried chick peas, cooked) Handful of coriander leaves 1 clove garlic, peeled 3 tbsp lime juice, fresh 1 1/2 tbsp tahini 1 tsp chili flakes 1 tsp each unrefined salt and cracked black pepper 3 tbsp olive or hemp oil 1/2 tsp cumin, ground Put all the ingredients (apart from chili flakes) in a processor or blender, and blitz until creamy. Garnish with the chili flakes and extra oil if you like. #avocadoweek #avocadohummus #janellapurcell
