Insane reasons Grandpa Fred has given why he can beat me in an MMA fight: 1. He has more retirement savings than I do. 2. His high school won a national wrestling championship (But he wasn’t on the team) 3. I can’t beat Bruce Lee 4. The Taliban has published many books and speaks numerous languages. 5. He got horribly beaten by an angry mob in Shenzhen six months and posted photos of his damaged face. 6. He’s going to take me out of my game plan by beginning the fight in the standing position. 7. I have never studied martial arts, trained in fighting or had any street fights. 8. Training doesn’t matter 9. His teacher is 70 years old. 10. Although I arranged the venue, the ring, the referee, and the crowd, I am afraid to fight him. 11. He has a friend who is a BJJ black belt and they get together once a week. 12. I can’t beat some random monk who he read about in a magazine 13. He will only slap me to avoid breaking his hand. 14. I outweigh him by 10 pounds 15. He’s a vegan 16. Other compelling reasons included: Just keep believing it, keep thinking that, go on talking, fag, homo, stupid, we’ll find out in December… These are all reasons he has given over the last few months why he will beat me in an MMA fight. I imagine he will instantly post here, claiming he never said any of this. I have copied much of it from Facebook chat and can reproduce it. I think problem is, things that sounded brilliant in his mind, seem blatantly stupid when thrown back in his face. So, he denies them. Fred, set a fight date in August, and let’s get this thing done.
