InstaBreast? Really? I discover this article recently, and couldnt believe what I was reading. At least for a handful of individuals in New York City, it appears that there is a demand for temporary breast enlargement. I cant say that this prospect excites me, and so I cant ever imagine doing these injections. What seems even crazier is that somebody would actually pay $3500 for a less than 24 hour change; that is half the cost of a silicone gel breast augmentation. The procedure itself is probably rather straightforward. Im sure there is at least some mild pain associated with the injections, and ultimately a woman who has this done probably feels a moderate amount of pressure in her breast. Initially, I would imagine that the breasts feel quite firm (potentially unnaturally so), and they would then soften as the saline solution is absorbed. I am not sure if the procedure would produce enough skin stretching, or stretching of the ligamentous support of the breast, to cause any permanent adverse changes; at least that is not likely after a single procedure. For the vast majority of women, I would think that they know ... either they want implants or they dont. If a woman has reservations, it is probably related to something about the surgical procedure, or the implant itself, or the potential complications -- so I dont see that this very temporary InstaBreast solves that problem. If you are interested in breast enhancement, consult the board-certified plastic surgeon and he or she should be able to help you make an appropriate decision.
