Into the Woods was great! Even though two families left the theatre midway and there was some booing at the end, I still give it a 7.5/10. I liked: James Corden, Emily Blunt, and Chris Pine. Anna Kendrick was decent, but shell probably make a much better Cathy than Cinderella. Of course, the cinematography and the music were incredible! I disliked: Johnny Depp, the portrayal of the Giants, and Jacks young age. The movie also lost a lot of momentum about 2/3rds way through. Overall, the adaptation was extremely successful, and stayed true enough to the stage production. Im glad that musical theatre is spreading its wings! Go see it!
