Invitation: announcement Quality Schools International (QSI) is pleased to announce an agreement in principle to assume the registration and management of the International School of Münster (ISM) effective 1 August 2015. QSI is a not for profit organization operating thirty six (36) not for profit international schools in twenty seven (27) nations. Schools generally exist at the request of parents, as is the case in Münster, or at the invitation of diplomatic missions. QSI schools earn and maintain accreditation issued by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (USA) as well other international accrediting bodies. These schools offer educational programs for children ages 3-18 in English utilizing their own Performance Based Mastery Learning curriculum as well as other recognized framework and curriculum such as the International Primary Curriculum (Münster 2014) the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program and the Advanced Placement Program. Students are expected to study and master host nation language and other languages. Faculty serving students are international with a large number being North American. Each is recruited when representing master ability as well recognized teaching qualifications. The vast majority hold advanced degrees (master and beyond). QSI schools develop extensive activity programs in the arts, athletics and other areas. Students are encouraged to participate in regional competitions among other international schools for growth and friendship opportunities. The school stands to serve both national students as well as expatriates in the greater community.
