Is Catwoman more of a villain or a hero? Before I start the - TopicsExpress

Is Catwoman more of a villain or a hero? Before I start the Villains Countdown, I wanted to get my readers thoughts on this. Selina Kyle is absolutely one of the most iconic characters in comic books, serving as the sometimes antagonist and sometimes ally/love interest of Batman. My quandary is whether she should be included in the Villains Countdown or the Heroes Countdown that Ill probably do around January. So readers... does Selinas altruism outweigh her thievery? Or is she too much of a bad girl to list among heroes? Vote and let me know which list shell be appearing on! Superman and Iron Man What Do They Have In Common? Very, very little, except that both men are two very powerful heroes that save the universe on a regular basis and are very popular with the public. They are also extremely driven to help others, as both feel that their abilities are responsibilities and are very active in their superheroing. While Batman and Captain America usually handle leadership duties in their respective super teams, Clark and Tony are often in charge of handling the big tasks, and any situation that would require the Man of Steel to team up with The Iron Avenger would have to be a massive crisis. How Do They Differ? Well, for starters, Kal El is an alien with a vast array of powers granted to him due to a yellow sun and his Kryptonian heritage, while Stark is a brilliant inventor who created the most powerful weapon and uses it to save the world. Stark is a strong humanist while Clark struggles with some people viewing him almost as benevolent god. Their personalities couldnt be farther apart, with Superman being humble, polite and introverted while Tony is outspoken, abrasive and egotistical. Neither man has much patience for either personality type, which would lead to a lot of tension between them. What Kind Of Story Would I Tell? What kind of threat do you come up to fight Superman and Iron Man? Both guys are overpowered like nobodys business. So what would I do? Well, Id take a fight that Ive used in a previous post, Hulk vs. Doomsday, and make these guys responsible for stopping the fight that could destroy the planet because... well who the heck else is gonna stop that fight? In all seriousness, I think it puts Clark and Tony in the situations they shine most; saving thousands of people from a massive threat. Superman usually solves problems with his great strength and courage, and Iron Man usually fixes things by using his intelligence and ingenuity. What more could you want from a Superhero Comic? Oh. I know. Make Doctor Doom and Lex Luthor behind Doomsdays escape from whatever cell hes behind. Who wouldnt love to see Tony and Lex have a war of words (and battle suits)? Yeah. This would be the best Superhero comic of all time.
