Is there any basis for comparison? It seems some power hungry - TopicsExpress

Is there any basis for comparison? It seems some power hungry individuals of Northern extraction don’t want any good thing to happen to the ordinary man in the street. They only think of the benefits of the elites. The North were in power for 38years but educationally disadvantaged, GEJ changed all that in 4years. The North has been in power for good 38years without removing Almajiris from its streets but GEJ did. The North were in power for 38 years without as much dams and agricultural prowess as GEJ has performed. The North were in power for 38years but Nigeria economy never becomes the biggest in Africa but GEJ did. The North were in power for 38years without rice production but GEJ changed all that. The North were in power with few motorable roads and bridges but GEJ has changed all that in 4years. The North were in power when all the Northern Airports turned kitchen but GEJ in 4years has brought magical turn around. The North were in power when NEPA and other public institutions died natural death because of debts owed it by government agents and agencies but GEJ changed all that. I have since come to a conclusion that the North believe so much in appointing a square peg in a round hole vis versa as long as he is loyal to the powers that be thereby undermining/compromising the capacity building and productivity that drive upward performance of our nation’s economy. I think it’s better to swallow pride and drop this age long “BORN TO RULE” mentality and embrace real change from down up, unfortunately the elite already confused/brain washed the innocent ignoramus Northern youths to resist change and go back to status quo…slave master relationship that existed for ages. Enough of this elitist manipulation!!!!!!!!!!! The North has just thrown out its wrong foot again in the person of GMB, where are the young and modern thinking politicians of Northern extraction? Where in this age will a country of over 170 million persons will allow a 72 years old man to be their president, when will GMB’s son be president of Nigeria? yet youth are leaders of tomorrow that will never come. These are issues to discuss instead of religion and ethnicity……..GMB was there before, what did he forget? Is it not now obvious that its better to negotiate the benefit of power than to grab power? Please let’s discuss issues and leave sentiments aside……
