Is there anyone in your circle that you have a grudge against? Have you recently been offended by a fellow brother or sister in Christ? Have you found yourself losing patience, becoming arrogant in service or interaction with others? Commit yourself today to seek the Lord in all things and ask him to cultivate the fruit of the Spirit in you. Remember we can plant, we can water, but we have to seek God for the increase! Humble yourself today. Seek forgiveness and reconciliation in every relationship. Confess your sins to God and he is faithful to forgive. His grace abounds! Here is a sample of a prayer you might like to pray: Dear Father, I thank you because you have created me with a heart that is capable of change and a mind that is able to shift in perspective. I pray for a right heart and a mind that is like the mind of Christ. I pray today, Lord, that you would help me to reconcile my relationship with (insert name here). Please forgive me for any way that I have acted against your character that is being made manifest within me. Speak to my heart and mind especially during times that are difficult and trying so that I may always act out of humility, patience, gentleness, kindness, self-control and most of all, love. My heart’s desire is to serve you and to please you. Give me wisdom and discipline to work out your call in my life everyday. This I ask in Jesus Name, Amen.
