Is there anything I can do to protect my newborn from my toddler - TopicsExpress

Is there anything I can do to protect my newborn from my toddler when their seats are side by side? Not giving my toddler any heavy toys or books that he could throw at his baby sister is the only thing I can think of. This might seem like a silly question... but I will have to put my two car seats right next to one another if I want to leave both of them rear-facing. My son will be two years old when baby #2 is born. Does anyone have experience with a toddler and a newborn being side-by-side in the car? We bought two Diono Radian RXT seats specifically because they were narrow enough to install side by side (with no seat behind the driver, so my long-legged husband can still drive!).
