Isnt is so sad when people recognize animals as a group or species and not as individuals? This is anti-veganism. Vegans recognize non-human animals as individuals in the same way we do for human animals. Animals matter just like we matter. This is the essence of veganism. When society moves in this direction, in the same way we have for certain humans who were once not included in the moral community, we will find peace. It wouldnt matter whether a certain native species is fluorishing or is threatened. We would protect them all because it would be the right thing to do.
