It felt, apocalyptic.. Everything was dark. We had no power so it was a quiet darkness. The main doors to the stairs in our hallway were closed (to keep the little warm air we had in), and when I went to get my still wet clothes from the dryer, a girl stuck her head out the door. As if to say "help me." But she closed it before I came close. It was probably a trap to have me eaten anyway. (Such is life in post apocalypse SD) I finally arrived safe back in my apt, quickly locked the door and kept my weapon close. I was bringing out my last candle supplies when it happened.. We had power again. It felt like years since I saw the buzzing glow of fluorescent light bulbs. I remembered it differently. -Saeed, surviver.
