It is a beautiful autumn day today. Sun shining, no wind, temp high 12 degrees. Lovely stuff. Wouldnt say there was a huge storm yesterday. A friend on his way to work yesterday morning at about 06h20 saw the car in front of him slam on brakes. The driver, a lady, jumped out just as a tree fell over. It hit her car on the roof and seconds later the car burst into flames. How scary is that? This was apparently in Pendleton Rd in Reigate. He got a pic of it on his phone. Apparently it is on the Surrey Mirror site. Like he said if he had been a few seconds earlier it would have been him.
