It is outrageous. The cuts should begin with the numerous overpaid administrators at the CPS. It is unconscionable for people who, in many ways, are limited as to where they can live and where they can rent to put them through this added stress and danger. I would like the people who made the decision to close schools to be the ones to set the example by putting their own children or grand-children at one of those schools. You have good families who at the present time cannot even sit in their living room and watch tv without risking being killed by a drive-by shooting or stray bullet and cannot allow their children to play outside for fear that their child will be killed. This is inhumane. I would not put my child in any of those gang infested schools, but then I can afford to move wherever to get the best that I can for her. Are any of these parents different from me? No, they want the same that I want for my daughter, but are limited in being able to move.
